A.H. Syme is a new Brisbane writer and is a prolific reader and writer of Crime and Speculative fiction. She lives in Brisbane City with her husband David, who can make almost all things happen, and two of her three sons.

She now enjoys having the time to devote to her writing and having as Virginia Woolf said, ‘a room of her own’, where she can assist a myriad of characters and stories walking the pathways of her imagination into the world.

She is fortunate to have a younger sister, Alison, who soothes her needy writer’s soul and loves her characters. And Rebecca, who has always believed in her creativity and a mother who she knows will forgive her for not writing about ducks— maybe one day, if they ruffle more than feathers.
