Up, Up and Stay by Jacob Conflitti

“Fly up there and distract him! The rest of us will get into position,” the Sweep yelled while the rest of the team leapt into action.

“I keep telling you I can’t fly! I just make people think I can,” Jim shouted back in terror. His voice could barely be heard over the colossal turtle-squid hybrid as it stomped through the city.

“We don’t have time for jokes, Flyboy. Get moving!” Sweep climbed onto the nearest chimney then disappeared within, only to pop out of another one several blocks away.

“Worst power ever,” Jim said as the monster spotted him.
