Dark Moments

(NB: If you have popups blocked, you won't be able to see the countdown timer above)

Theme: October 2026 - Decades

Give us stories where time’s passage becomes a source of dread—families haunted across generations, curses that fester through the years, forgotten sins resurfacing after decades, or places that trap memories in layers of terror.

Explore the decay of both people and societies, the horrors that evolve slowly, and the secrets that refuse to age quietly. Let your narratives show how time can twist, erode, and amplify fear.

We want tales that haunt not just the present, but every era they touch.

This theme will be open for submissions from 1st OCTOBER 2026 and will close midnight 31st OCTOBER 2026 (last place on Earth). Submissions received outside of this timeframe will not be read.

You must include the theme in your email subject (as shown above). Reading will start once the submission period has closed.

The BEST 12 drabbles will be chosen for publication in NOVEMBER 2026.
