Tim Law
Timothy Law is a writer of fantasy, horror, detective fiction, general fiction and everything else that pops into his head. He heralds from a little town in Southern Australia called Murray Bridge. A happily married father of three, family is very important to him. Currently working at the Murray Bridge Library in the role of Library Manager he has dreamed since his early high school years of becoming a full-time author. Working for a library, surrounded by so many wonderful stories it is difficult not to be inspired to write. Many of his short stories and general musings can be found on his blog or on various websites, including Black Hare Press. Tim is also the author of the fantasy novel The Eleventh Tome, book one of The Prophecies of Andrapaal. He has a multitude of other novel ideas floating around in his mind. All he now needs is what every author wishes for, time, a little peace and quiet and of course a willing and understanding publisher. While seeking what seems to be the impossible he somehow finds time for scotch and board games with his brother-in-law, family movie nights and weekends away with his wonderful wife.

The Same As You
/by Shawna Rowanby Tim Law I watched on, helpless, as you faded away. All of those crosswords, logic puzzles, the way you challenged and stretched your mind. Nothing seemed to help, nothing stopped or even stalled your decline. You were the smartest and most caring person I know. In the end, you became nothing more than a […]
Fresh
/by Shawna Rowanby Tim Law I have whispered those words before, in passionate moments when desire has overruled logic. Tonight, you believe we have taken playtime from the bedroom to the kitchen. Your naivety makes me smile. Tied to the table instead of the bed, I run my teaser across your flesh, only this time it is […]
Broken
/by Shawna Rowanby Tim Law You cut down my father, stole my sister away; leaving me a sword I couldn’t lift and a burning desire for revenge. Now you have returned, older, just as I am. You’ve grown weak, while I’ve the strength of my whole tribe. My son and daughter bear witness as I promise you […]
A Medical Miracle
/by Shawna Rowanby Tim Law They advertised it as the medical breakthrough of the century. No exercise, no diet, just one puff a day and the weight melted away. We’ve got the deadliest spiders, snakes galore, even killer koalas and you’re telling us the thing you fear the most is a bird?” “Yep, the cassowary, seen it firsthand.” “So, what’s so scary?” “Beady little eyes that you just can’t trust, horn on its head that can run […]
The Black Bag of Fun
/by S. Jade Pathby Tim Law Zip goes the black sports bag, the sound makes me smile. The zipper once had a brand name but now only the “N” and “I” remain. In my line of work, sometimes you need to zip up in a hurry. I open the bag lovingly. I know each tool homed within, […]

We Ride Through the Night
/by S. Jade Pathby Tim Law We ride through the night, my master and I. At witch’s summons we arise from the pumpkin’s patch, sabre drawn and jack-o’-lantern head. We search until our quarry is found and then the race begins. This part I love the most, the thrill of the chase. We ride across land we […]
