A beloved voice in Australian speculative fiction, Aiki Flinthart was taken too soon, but her words and wisdom continue to inspire. Fiercely creative and endlessly generous, she left behind a powerful legacy in both her stories and the writing community she so passionately supported.

Aiki Flinthart has 11 published speculative fiction novels, including the popular YA series, 80AD, the urban fantasy Shadows trilogy, and the science-fantasy trilogy The Kalima Chronicles. She has edited 2 anthologies of short stories, and has had her own stories shortlisted in the Australian Aurealis Awards, and top-8 finalist listed in the USA Writers of the Future competition.
When not writing or running a full time business, she gives workshops on writing fight scenes, does martial arts, archery, knife-throwing, lute-playing, painting, and belly dancing.
Sometimes she even sleeps.
