Annie was the prettiest girl in the Last Chance Saloon, always swarmed with cowboys buying her drinks, trying to earn a trip upstairs. But tonight she drank alone.
They chatted and laughed until Annie grabbed his neckerchief, leading him to her room.
She shoved him onto the bed, smiling.
“Most fellas want a peek under here.” She gave her petticoat a playful swish. “Do you, Buck?”
He swallowed hard. “Oh, yes, ma’am!”
Annie straddled him, and as the glistening tentacles emerged, cinching tight around Buck’s arms and neck, she leaned in, whispering: “Most fellas regret it…”
