Dark, liquid eyes teased above her curves.
She ran naked across the beach. Wind-tossed hair and sun-kissed curves disappeared into the spray of the waves.
“Crazy,” he muttered, stripping. “You and me both.”
He plunged through icy surf to where she floated in the swell beyond. Pale arms and wet hair coiled around him. She buried her face in his neck, nibbling.
“Hey! You bit me!”
“So many of my sisters’ skins, taken by your kind,” the selkie whispered. “Now I take one back.”
Blood blossomed in the water like strands of crimson seaweed.
