The barman sighs and fills a glass.
Before Earl could grab it, a knife slams through his hand.
He shrieks and turns to see John Carney, his former partner. The hole he had left between his eyes gushed blood as if fresh.
“You still owe me, Earl.” John’s gun went to Earl’s head.
